Christopher Way
President, CEO & Director
Christopher has worked for Canaf since 2007. He graduated from Durham University with a Masters of Civil Engineering in 2004 and gained experience in construction and road contracting before moving to Africa to represent the Company. He has represented the Company in Zimbabwe, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Sierra Leone, and in 2010 became Managing Director of Southern Coal. He continues to manage Canaf's investments with a hands-on approach.
Peter Wassenaar
Chairman & Director
Peter is a practicing attorney based in Pretoria, South Africa. He obtained his LLB degree from the University of Pretoria in 2009 and became a founding member and director of Kriek Wassenaar and Venter Inc in 2012. His legal practice focuses on company law, commercial transactions, contract and constitutional law.
Rebecca Williams CGMA
CFO & Director
Rebecca brings 15 years of finance experience across private equity, public companies, operations and financial transformation for businesses of different sizes and stages of growth. Her experience also extends into corporate finance, including acquisitions, disposals and funding projects.
Monita Faris
Non Executive Director & Company Secretary
Monita has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Central Florida. She has extensive experience in corporate governance and public-company management, and has run her own corporate secretary services company in Vancouver since 2000.
